I am trying to remove a kitchen drawer.
I cant find any levers or catches on the side or bottom to release the drawer.
Attached is a photo of the bottom of the drawer.
Hello @peterford
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your drawer.
Before I make any suggestions, would it be possible for you to tell us if the side of the drawer has a plastic cover clip? It will seem innocuous as if it was just a plastic cover placed to cover up an open section in the drawer panel. The release mechanism is sometimes located inside that cover and all you need to do is to remove the cover and twist the release button.
However, if there are no cover clips or any indication of a covered section, I suggest trying the following technique. I suspect that the drawer uses a "push to clip on" system. To release it, I suggest pulling the drawer out to its maximum extension. Place your two hands on the front side of the drawer and firmly lift the drawer front upwards. Moderate force may be required, but if you feel that the drawer is firmly attached, please stop.
My only other suggestion is to unscrew the drawer from the bottom using an https://www.bunnings.com.au/irwin-57mm-sq2-impact-pro-performance-2-pack_p0055408 in combination with a cordless drill.
Let me call on our experienced members @JoeAzza , @Remarka6le, @Dave-1, @Nailbag and @DIY4Knuckleheds for their recommendations.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Good Afternoon @peterford
Draws are a pain I must admit, knowing that there "MUST" be a way does make it easier tho still frustraing.
Is there a chance of a photo side on and also top down of the rail?
At the front there looks to be a little white snap clip, (on the left of the photo) does this move? I dont think this is what is needed but it will have a look like that. Apart from that I would be trying what @EricL has suggested. Most its remove the draw to the full extent, have a look to see what can be poked/pushed. Then slide the drawn in a tiny bit and see if things can be moved.
I have seen draws that have pins in the side that slot into the rails (mainly server rails for IT stuff) Do you know the model of your kitchen?
Dave
Hi @peterford
I'm pretty sure with the drawer fully extended, you grab each front edge and firmly pull up to unclip it from the runners.
Then to replace, sit the drawer back on the runners, back end first as you lower the front down firmly. Nailbag
Thanks Eric. The push to clip on method worked
Cheers
Peter
