I need help!
I have a loose door jam that moves slightly when closing. Door jamb is wood, attached to brickwork which allows entry to garage.The inside architrave won’t sitflush with internal wall unless pushing hard against it.

Can you give us an idea of how much movement there is in the door jamb? Are we talking about a millimetre or two when the door closes, or does it move several millimetres and feel noticeably loose?
If the jamb is noticeably loose, a relatively straightforward fix is to drill through the jamb and into the masonry, install suitable wall plugs, such as these https://www.bunnings.com.au/ramset-7-x-50mm-green-wall-plugs-25-pack_p2260646 , along the full height of the jamb, and then secure the jamb back to the brickwork with countersunk screws. The screw heads can then be filled and painted over.
If the movement is only minor and the main concern is the gap between the architrave and the wall, you could simply apply a paintable gap filler such as https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-475g-no-more-gaps-interior-multipurpose-gap-filler_p1230010 around the edge of the architrave to conceal it. Once the caulk has cured, it can be painted to match the surrounding trim, creating a much neater finish.

Movement more to the topside of jamb, about 3 mm. I will do what you suggested with plugs and hold with a clamp to get a tight fit, and filler if needed.
