The project:
For years I’ve been growing Cineraria Tapestry. They are still being sold at the Bunnings stores near me. In the main pic, top right, there is a car, to give a relative size of the flower heads. Note, they don’t like frost, and like dappled shade.
- Materials:
Bunnings cineraria tapestry, complete D since I have a weak immune system, so can’t tolerate the manures.
- Tools:
I use a trenching spade since I can’t lean over nor kneel. I water the punnet, to stop any dust, place a single plant on the end if the trenching spade and position the spade so the plant goes into a pre dug little hole. I do dig the area over with the trenching space to reduce the roots from a nearby tree.
- Step 1:
pre dig, post planting complete d from Bunnings, half a handful to a metre square.
