How to build polycarbonate roof for solar battery protection from rain?

Question

I have a few sheets of corrugated polycarbonate sheets in good condition.

I want to construct a roof for protection from rain, size against brick wall W1.6m, single post for support near fence ~ L 1.5m

Can you advice materials required & best way to put it together.

Thanks for sharing your question about protecting your solar battery. There have been a number of discussions about what type of cover and how it's supposed to be installed near your solar battery. My best advice is speaking to your solar battery provider and asking them about what materials are allowed near the solar battery? Is there a suggested frame to be placed around the solar battery? How far should the cover be from the solar battery? It would be best to get these details from your battery provider so that you do not accidentally void your warranty.

In regard to materials, we have treated wood, steel and aluminium which can be used outdoors. However, as to the design of the frame I suggest speaking to your battery provider.
