Loungeroom transformation with new carpet and paint

The project:

Loungeroom had no carpet was old orange cork boards. Laying a dark grey carpet to add warmth to a very cold house. Walls were a pale yellow now are a cream and Lovley purple feature wall as well as fake brick contact on TV wall. As well as the added fireplace. House is a lot warmer

- Materials:

Underlay and carpet and metallic trim where carpet stops.

- Tools:

Tape to join underlay. Hammer to bend over nails. Screws and drill to install metallic trim.

- Step 1:

Put down underlay position the edge pieces with the nails to hold carpet in place then laid carpet.

What a fantastic transformation, @finoree. The new carpet, updated paint colours and feature wall have completely changed the look and feel of the room, and it's great to hear the changes have also made the house warmer and more comfortable.

The dark grey carpet works beautifully with the lighter walls, and the fireplace really helps create a cosy living space. Thanks for sharing your project and the before-and-after photos with the community.
