Front entrance tiles

The project:

Covering the Orange cork board with light grey tiles that look like wood grain. Small job but very affective and looks so much better than orange.

- Materials:

Second hand tiles.metal strips

- Tools:

Trowel tile glue and tile cutter

- Step 1:

Got rid of the shiny layer the cork board had.

- Step 2:

Figured out the pattern to use for tile

- Step 3:

Applied tile glue to tiles and laid tiles down. Added metal strips at each end to finish the job.

Thanks for sharing your project, @finoree. The new tiles look much more modern and have really helped brighten up the entrance area. The timber-look finish is a nice update from the original orange cork flooring, and the metal trim provides a neat finishing touch.
