How to install Mondella semi framelss shower screen?

Hi, I have installed the Mondella 900x900 three lipped shower base, and have the mondella semi frameless screen to install. How does the wall screen sit in relation to the lip on the edge of the shower base? On top of the lip flush with the outside of the base, with an overhang inside, or does it sit on the base inside the lip (this seems like it would affect the door section fitting?

The screen hardware is far wider than the lip so has thrown me off, instructions are very vague and don't show the base in any detail. Thank you!

Thanks for the quick response Jacob,

That all makes sense, great. I have obviously embedded two edges into the wall taking approx 20-25mm off the 900 on each dimension.

My only concern now is whether bringing the frame inside the lip will take me too narrow on the other panels side, if its designed to be this way hopefully I am all good.

I will get someone to give me a hand dry fitting it before drilling any holes to make sure bring the frame inside the lip on the one side will still allow the door-side panel to fit in (if it doesn't i AM in trouble!).

I'll just start by mentioning that any time you are working around glass, it is important that you consider your safety. Please ensure you wear long protective clothing, gloves, enclosed shoes and eye protection to reduce the risk of lacerations if an accident were to occur.

To answer your question, the wall channels for the Mondella semi-frameless shower screens are positioned on the flat surface of the shower base, just inside the raised water-retaining lip, rather than sitting on top of the lip itself. This allows the screen and door to align correctly while ensuring water is directed back into the shower.

The product dimensions also support this. Your shower base measures 900 x 900mm overall, while the shower screen's two panels are adjustable between 860 and 875mm, allowing it to fit neatly within the raised lip of the base while still providing the necessary adjustment during installation.

A test fit of the shower screen, prior to fixing off the wall channels, could certainly help to clarify the positioning.

Was there a particular aspect of fitting off the door frame that seems like it would be affected by this? If you can clarify, I should be able to advise further if necessary.
