How to spray paint pool fence?

Hi, looking for a spray paint to paint over the fence posts around my pool. The fence is currently beige and I would like to change it to black. I would be changing the panels for black aluminium panels from Bunnings but would like to respray the posts in black rather than replace them. Which spray paint is the closest match in colour and texture/finish to the Bunnings black aluminium fence panels.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your pool fence.

Generally speaking, the surface of the post will need to be sanded down, but there is no need to sand it back down to the metal surface. Areas that have started to peel or bubble will need to be sanded down very well and a proper etching primer will need to be applied to the entire post such as https://www.bunnings.com.au/white-knight-rust-guard-1l-grey-quick-dry-sls-etch-primer-paint_p1566429 . For the topcoat, I recommend looking at the https://www.bunnings.com.au/white-knight-rust-guard-1l-white-gloss-epoxy-enamel-paint_p1540205 tinted to the colour of the aluminium panels you'll be using.

In regard to the fence colour and finish, I suggest bringing the aluminium panel to the paint specialist at the paint desk and ask them to colour match the fence colour using the White Knight Epoxy Enamel Paint. This would be the best way to get a matching colour for your fence post.
