Tiered front garden beds using Treated Pine posts

The project:

My wife got the idea from a show in the states and put me to work,

Looks beautiful here but after a year or so it turned to grey. ( most disappointing )

- Materials:

A "truck" load of 200mm x 50mm treated pine (which we loaded ourselves) over a few weeks.

More screws than I can think of.

- Tools:

Drill, drill bits, screw heads, table saw and mitre saw, level and string line

- Step 1:

Basic set up, dug a lot of holes, put posts in and concrete, levelled rails and screwed and more screws and more screws

Thank you very much for sharing the steps and materials you used for your front garden timber wall. It looks fantastic, but I understand your distress about the wood turning grey. This often happens to the top layer section of seasoned timber it's a general indicator that the surface is ready for sealing.
