Replacement porcelain pool pavers

The project:

Jackhammer up the old sand stone pavers and replace with porceline.

- Materials:

concrete primer, self levelling concrete, tile adhesive, pavers.

- Tools:

Ozito Jackhammer, 12mm tile adhesive spreader, Ryobi grinder, spirit level, mixing bucket, all purchased from Bunnings

electric Tile/Paver saw hired from Bunnings

- Step 1:

Jack hammer up the old pavers,

- Step 2:

remove the adhesive

- Step 3:

apply primer to the concrete

- Step 4:

pour self leveling concrete

- Step 5:

Repave the pool area.

Great job, @Markcub. Replacing an entire pool surround is no small undertaking, and the finished result looks fantastic. The porcelain pavers give the area a much more contemporary feel while creating a clean, seamless finish around the pool.

I'm sure your project will inspire other members considering updating tired or dated paving around their outdoor entertaining areas.
