The project:
Using the Bunnings Kaboodle design/costing tool we bought our vision to life within budget turning a tired old walk in pantry into an inviting modern room. We cut down the Kaboodle cupboards in depth and the Mirostone benchtop to keep the space open and functional. Perfect with a custom build look, enough to fit small kitchen appliances. We fitted the double slot wire baskets to the left wall and double slot shelving to the right and rear. The final product looks and feels great.

- Step 1:
Remove existing door, shelves and plasterboard.
- Step 2:
Measure, cut and glue/screw new plaster sheets, tape joints, mud and sand ready for paint with white Dulux Kitchen.
- Step 3:
Measure and cut Kaboodle cabinet side panels whilst building and attaching to walls. Measure and cut Mirastone benchtop to fit.
- Step 4:
Measure and cut splashback tiles, glue using spacers for grouting/silicone. Measure and cut aluminium edge trim.
- Step 5:
Measure and screw in Flexi Storage wall rails, and attach brackets, shelving and baskets along with the hanging track cover. We cut 45 degree corners off the shelves for safety and ironed on the new edge. Measure, cut and lay floating floorboards. Attach Kaboodle Aluminium kickboard and cut and fit pre painted 92mm skirting boards.
