How to replace low-flow dishwasher valve?

Hi, I have had recurring dishwasher errors which i have concluded are due to low flow rate at the tap feeding the dishwasher.

I replaced the tap washer feeding this dishwasher inket hose but still have low (aprox 2l/min) flow rate. The next tap on the line has close to 15l/minute, so it is not a house pressure issue. I suspect it could be this pressure relief valve but am unable to find a suitable replacement or information on how to service or adjust the unit.

Any suggestions or advice appreciated

Please note that plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.

In this particular instance, I suggest engaging the services of a licensed plumber. Removal, replacement or modification of plumbing fittings (pressure limiting valve) is considered regulated plumbing work. This would also be a good opportunity to ask the plumber about the water pressure reaching your dishwasher.

From your testing, it certainly sounds reasonable that the pressure limiting valve could potentially be contributing to the low flow rate. Since you've already replaced the tap washer and confirmed there is good flow elsewhere, it does suggest the restriction is localised. As the pressure limiting valve is plumbed into the water supply line, it will need to be assessed and, if necessary, replaced by a licensed plumber. Unfortunately, this isn't considered a DIY repair.
