The project:
My husband and I bought an old apartment by the beach, in original condition. We set out to have it renovated completely within 6 weeks, all while we were both working full time. The plan was to see if we could manage doing something like this before committing to renovations on a much larger scale.

- Step 1:
This 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom renovation was a little different to most.
We had just 6 weeks to completely transform the property and get it ready for the rental market.
What started as a tired, outdated house quickly became six weeks of long days, late nights, and more trips to the hardware store than we can count. We painted, renovated, repaired, cleaned, and updated almost every part of the home to bring it back to life.
It wasn’t perfect, and there were plenty of challenges along the way, but somehow we got it all done in time.
Looking back at these before-and-afters, it’s hard to believe it’s the same house.
