The project:
built arbor, path, pavers and garden to enhance the appeal of the house and identify where front door was.

- Tools:
string line , circular saw, drill and drill bits, pencil, tape measure, laser level, spirit level, excavator, compactor, clamps, shovel, crowbar, cement mixer, paint brush, hand saw.
- Step 1:
draw up a plan
- Step 2:
excavate the area and set post locations and plan garden edges
- Step 3:
fit garden edges, compact down the paver base, lay pavers and dig arbor post holes
- Step 4:
position the stirrups, confirm levels and square and cement in position.
- Step 5:
fit prepainted and rebated posts to stirrups and confirm orientation for crossmembers.
Fit precut and painted crossmembers with crossmember stainless noggin stays.
drill cross member to post 1 and measure and adjust post 2 to plan. Fit crossmember 2 to post 3 and 4 as per cross member 1. Check levels and measurements.
fit 6 cross members to stainless noggin stays with clout tacks and self drill screws.
paint and touch up.
- Step 6:
fit coral stone between pavers and lay premium garden soil and plant hedge fitting off with mulch. Clean and tidy up.
