Bespoke Sheoak and Teak carved bookshelf

The project:

Sheoak shelves,burned natural edges with carved Teak supports.

- Materials:

Sanded, Doweled and Glued. No screws and coated in Carbots gloss.

- Tools:

Dewalt thicknesser, Ryobi sanded all from Bunnings and lots of elbow grease. :)

- Step 1:

Collect timber from forrest in Northcliffe WA

- Step 2:

Cut into slabs.

- Step 3:

Run through thicknesser

- Step 4:

Cut support ancient carved teak. Sand blasted to bring back from years of storage.

- Step 5:

Make template to locate drill holes for plugs. Drill glue and plug and clamp to secure.

- Step 6:

Sand smooth and coat with gloss to finish. TaDar !!!
