The project:
outdated no functional bathroom turned into a stunning workable ensuite with a double shower and shower seat! Feature wall is custom stone and all matching gold hardware. Done on our own over a few weekends. Many cold outdoor showers were had during the making of this masterpiece
- Materials:
Yellow tongue, Timber framing, Structural screws and framing brackets, Waterproof membrane, Copper hot and cold water pipes, PVC drainage pipe, Exhaust fan, heater and light in one, grout, silicone, Lexiton quarter paint, door & hardware.
- Tools:
Floor leveller, drill, multi grips, a second leveller, pencil, hand saw, wet tile cutter, corking gun
- Step 1:
Rip out and clean! To see what we are woking with
- Step 2:
add new flooring, work on the ceiling and rough-in
the pipes
- Step 3:
wall up, plaster and make sure the holes are in the right spot this time!
- Step 4:
waterproofing
- Step 5:
sealing the stone
- Step 6:
tiling and more tiling
- Step 7:
built the shower step/seat
- Step 8:
Add in the taps, showers, toilet etc
- Step 9:
final prices including the vanity and a good clean
