The project:
This model prime mover truck and trailer project started as a gift for my best mates newborn as a keepsake, was suppose to be super simple as a toy but soon after starting as all projects you get abit carried away and start adding more and more detail, made from pine it’s cut, sanded and coated with a bee’s wax finish. Took me over a month to complete doing bits here and there after work, all up about 30 hours when into it.

- Step 1:
I got a idea to build a toy truck because all baby boys love trucks so I just google searched a couple images, found 2 images of the styles I liked
- Step 2:
once I found the style I liked I just started roughing out measurements that I thought would be good size and got to work
- Step 3:
once the main body was starting to take shape now it was time to start adding the detailed parts which was probably the best part of the project that’s when you start to actually see it taking shape
- Step 4:
next step was wheels that’s was the worst part but definitely brought the whole piece together
- Step 5:
with the truck complete I moved onto the trailer but as I got carried away I didn’t get to many photos of this build
- Step 6:
with the trailer complete was time to do a final sand and a bee’s wax coating and the truck was complete have you guys like my project.
