The project:
I wanted to freshen up my bathroom without spending much money or demolishing much. I replaced the mirror with a curved medicine cabinet and painted the back wall a dark green, and removed the vinyl from the existing cabinet to be a lighter green than the wall, and replaced the above-mirror light.
- Materials:
Mirror from Facebook Marketplace, Taubmans paint from bunnings, Gold picture light.
- Tools:
Paint tray and roller, gloss paint, eggshell paint, Milwaukee drill, Milwaukee impact driver, paintbrushes
- Step 1:
Remove vinyl from cabinets with utility knife, sand and paint with green. Used existing knobs.
- Step 2:
Remove existing mirror, paint accent wall dark green.
- Step 3:
Replace existing above-mirror light.
- Step 4:
Hang new mirror centred on wall.
