4WD Esky buggy and baby buggy

The project:

This is my offroad esky buggy/baby carrier custom made. Its for transporting my esky at 4wd events. Has a spot for a jbl speaker, makita battery for charging, headlights, tail lights and led whip lights. Flexes better than the comp rigs under its own weight. Custom bead lock rims. 3d printed light bar. So much work put into this thing its crazy and 95% made from bunnings gear

- Step 1:

Frame was filled with sand and bent up with a tube bender and welded

- Step 2:

Trailing Arms, diffs, steering knuckles, pull handle all custom made and welded up. Wheels taken apart and welded on imitation bead locks

- Step 3:

Made up custom coil overs out of gas struts and springs. Took the ends off the struts put big washers on to sandwich the springs and put the ends back on.

- Step 4:

Sand blasted all the parts and painted and reassembled.

- Step 5:

Wired up 3d printed min light bar, headlights , taillights and mini led whip lights to the makita battery.

- Step 6:

Install Esky or baby seat and jbl speaker

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us and thank you for sharing your custom 4wd buggy.

This is a seriously impressive build and makes it clear that you are very skilled when it comes to metal fabrication. The fact you've achieved this with some basic materials from Bunnings; some hard work and knowhow is really incredible.

I hope you had a great time building it, and that your family enjoy it as much as I'm sure everyone at the 4wd shows does.
