Cosy master bedroom with timber slat feature wall

The project:

We transformed our bedroom into a warm, cosy country retreat using products from Bunnings. The feature wall behind our bed was created with timber slats, complemented by timber sliding barn door, fittings and beautiful sage green paint to bring a soft, natural feel to the space. The combination of timber textures and earthy tones has created the perfect country-inspired bedroom, and every item used in the makeover was purchased from Bunnings.

- Materials:

Ikonic barn door fittings

Hume doors and timber - barn door

Dulux paint

- Tools:

drop saw

Drill & screw driver

Paint bruses

- Step 1:

we started by cutting the timber strips for the wall behind the bed head and used liquid nails to glue them on

- Step 2:

We painted the barn door before hanging it using a drill

- Step 3:

We finished off by painting the walls a beautiful sage green

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

I'm a big fan of sage green, I think it gives such a homely feel to things and it looks perfectly in place in your master bedroom.

The barn door and board and batten wall add to the depth of the room and really gives it a wonderful country home feel.
