How to Build a Floating shelf 200mm drop under a 1.5m wall-hung vanity?

To add a shelf like this to the underside of your vanity, the simplest method would be to build a box to the desired dimensions out of particleboard.
Simply cut your panels to size, then screw it together using chipboard screws. You'd need a top and bottom, a back piece and three vertical pieces like shown above.
Once this box is built, you would screw it to the underside of the vanity, then through the back of the box into the wall, preferably into the studs. This will retain that floating look while securely attaching it to both the vanity and the structure.
