The project:

Sunken deck with fire pit - The perfect place to relax after a hard-working week or for when you have friends and family over. Built using merbau decking and Led lights to set the mood

- Step 1:

Mark out the area for where needs to be dug

- Step 2:

Dig out massive hole and retain

- Step 3:

Build Frame for seating area

- Step 4:

Build frame for stairs

- Step 5:

Add Merbau Decking to the seats and have an electrician come in and wire up LED strip lights under the seats and steps

- Step 6:

Build floor frame and pour fire pit concrete slab

- Step 7:

Finish decking and let the tannins wash out of the merbau

- Step 8:

Oil the deck once it has dried and sit back, relax and enjoy your entertaining area

This is a fantastic outdoor entertaining area and a great use of the space.

The Merbau decking has come up beautifully, and the LED lighting under the seats and steps adds a polished finish that would make the area feel especially cosy at night.

Thanks for sharing such an impressive backyard transformation, I imagine it is getting plenty of use with these.
