The project:
This was my 1st ever project. I had no idea what I was doing but had an idea for my timid rescue dog who felt safer being on top of things and kept jumping on the glass table. Somehow made it come alive and it’s been a life saver. Front opens for easy access to clean out and ramp for top story with artificial grass for comfort. Has lockable wheels to make it easy to move around. Added a gate to create train her but has been taken off and some wooden steps on ramp. My 48kg dog loves it.
- Materials:

- Tools:
• ozito power drill
• ozito jigsaw
• ozito sander
- Step 1:
Went to bunnings to collect all the materials needed for the project.
- Step 2:
used the jigsaw to cut all the wood to size for walls, door, ramp and bowl holder.
- Step 3:
Built the base of the house first with pine wood and screws and added the lockable wheels.
- Step 4:
sanded back everything and brushes off excess.
- Step 5:
Put together the sides, back and front separately before mantling to base and eachother for extra strength
- Step 6:
added the plywood for the top and barrier
- Step 7:
Made the ramp and screwed in with a thick piece of pine on the top and bottom to hold the dogs weight, as well as screwing the middle from the inside of the house.
- Step 8:
primed and painted with a normal grey and white edging for looks
- Step 9:
added in door handle, latches and hooks, grass and carpet. Attached on with glue and small screws
- Step 10:
climbed up and down to make sure it’s all safe and added in bedding which fits a kids cot mattress in.
