A before and after of the bedrooms I redid after buying the property in poor condition
Dulux lexicon full strength. Dulux oyster linen 1/4 strength. 30mm quad panelling (Bunnings cut to size). Dulux ceiling paint. Abode wardrobes built in using mdf.
paint brushes, paint rollers, heat gun, liquid nails, sandpaper, plaster,
ripped up the carpet two hours after having the keys to the house. Sugar soaked all the walls. Filled in any holes or marks and Dulux undercoat on walls and ceiling then applied Dulux lexicon to half the wall and up and did three coats. then applied the panelling. Used painters tape around the areas that I didn’t want to get the next colour. Applied oyster linen paint to the bottom half and over the panelling.
What a fantastic transformation @ellys! The panelling adds so much character to the room, and the two-tone colour scheme really gives it a fresh, modern look. It is hard to believe it is the same space.
I'm sure your project will be a great source of inspiration for other community members planning a similar bedroom makeover.
