Bedroom transformation to create home office

The project:

I converted one large room into a new master bedroom and office space. I framed the wall, plastered, added French doors to create a new bedroom and maximise the space of the room.

70 x 35 timber
Gyprock plaster sheeting 1350mm x 2.4m
buildex plasterboard screws

Framing nails

Stud adhesive

External aluminium plaster corner

Gyprock base multi purpose joint compound

Taubmans 3 in 1 undercoat

Taubmans paint - tinted to custom colour

MDF door frame - 135mm

MDF door trim

Selleys silicone - white

What a gorgeous transformation! Dividing one large room into a spacious master bedroom and a separate office is such a smart use of space, and the French doors add timeless character while keeping the home feeling bright and open.
