- Step 1:
Measure and cut two identical side panels. Install timber battens to support horizontal panels for top and bottom, shelves, keyboard and screen.
- Step 2:
Measure and cut all front and back, top and bottom and internal panels. Use the installed timber battens to screw from the inside and hide all the screws!
- Step 3:
VERY CAREFULLY measure and cut holes in the panels for the screen and speakers to be installed into.
- Step 4:
MDF always needs to be primed before painting or wrapping. So two coats of primer and then two coats of black paint.
- Step 5:
Design a cool wrap and find someone local who can print it for you!!
- Step 6:
Take 3847294842 years to slowly install wrap - making sure to push out any bubbles and creases!! Also, install T-mould around the edges for that really pro finish
- Step 7:
Install joystick and buttons, speakers and screen, and internal components and wire it all together.
It should be starting to look pretty flash!
