How to prevent sound of water droplets from external pipe?

There is a pipe in exterior of my home that drips water droplets one drop at a time and hits the cable for my air conditioner below.

The main issue I want to resolve is the sound. Each droplet is just loud enough to get on my nerve.

I am looking to redirect the water from the pipe so that it can travel to the ground without any perceptible sound.

Any suggestions?

Do you happen to know what that pipe is connected to? Identifying what it is draining is the first step, as there are a few different types of overflow and discharge pipes around a home, and they each have different requirements.

Please note that any plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.

If it turns out to be an appropriate discharge pipe, it may be as simple as fitting a length of vinyl tubing or conduit to direct the water past the air conditioner cable and down towards the ground or a nearby drain. That would eliminate the dripping noise without affecting the flow.

Before doing that though, I'd recommend having a licensed plumber identify exactly what the pipe is, where the water is coming from, and whether adding an extension to the outlet would be compliant. Once you know that, you'll be in a much better position to choose the right solution.
