Caroma cistern running into bowl

A toilet that is continuously running into the bowl is usually caused by one of two things.
The first is a worn or damaged outlet valve washer. Over time, the rubber washer can harden or become damaged, preventing it from sealing properly and allowing water to slowly leak into the bowl.
The second common cause is the inlet valve. If it's not shutting off correctly or is set too high, the cistern can overfill and continuously run into the overflow, which then drains into the bowl.
I'd recommend removing the cistern lid and checking whether the water level is reaching the overflow tube. That will help determine whether the issue is with the inlet valve or the outlet valve washer.
