Convertible outdoor bench and table

The project:

to make best use of a small deck space, I designed and built an outdoor setting that can fold from a full table with side benches, to a bench seat

- Materials:

Merbau frame and boards, galvanised steel angle and flat bar, galvanised coach bolts and screws, adjustable feet, outdoor foam and fabric

- Tools:

Mitre saw, drill, cutting disc, tape measure, clamps, sockets and ratchet spanner

- Step 1:

Measure, cut and assemble all frame pieces

- Step 2:

Install decking boards on table top and along benches

- Step 3:

Measure and cut foam and fabric, sew fabric and attach back and seat cushions
