Laundry revamp to add storage

The project:

Renovated our laundry to take it from outdated and lacking in storage to modern, with plenty of storage. A space that makes doing the laundry a little less of a chore!

Tall linen cabinet and all taps / plumbing and sink also from Bunnings - unable to remember names to provide specific links.

Paint for tiles and walls

- Tools:

10 piece AEG combo kit.

- Step 1:

Removed old laundry trough

- Step 2:

Drew up a plan and purchased materials from Bunnings

- Step 3:

Painted walls & tiles

- Step 4:

Installed tall cabinet and base cabinets, cut benchtop to size.

- Step 5:

Sand & Varnish benchtop

- Step 6:

Install top cabinetry, plumbing etc.

- Step 7:

Remove old tiles off the wall and re-tile with sticky tiles.

- Step 8:

Install shelf.

The laundry has been transformed into a much more practical and modern space. The added cabinetry and benchtop have made a huge improvement, giving you plenty of storage while keeping everything looking clean and organised.

Great work planning it out, tackling the tiling, painting and installation yourself. The timber benchtop adds a really nice warmth to the room too. Great job!
