The project:
Our 8m x 3m outbuilding that housed tools, garden accessories and rechargeable batteries in the first half and an orchid house with shade cloth at the back half. We decided to change it up and turn the front section into a home office and the rear section into a Recreation room. We are very happy with our efforts, and it just looks so good and matches the boards and front door of the main house. Thank you, Bunnings, you made it so easy to get what we needed to complete the process.

- Tools:

- Step 1:
Framed up rear section Orchid House. Front section already framed and clad. Concreted the floor. Removed the Opal Alsonite from roof and replaced with colourbond orb to match front section.
- Step 2:
Installed glass sliding doors and put a doorway in the dividing wall to the front section.
- Step 3:
Clad the inside walls and ceiling adding insulation as we went along. Added VJ panelling to feature wall. Painted everything and placed polycarbonate sheeting at the end of the Trusses to allow morning sun to come in. Hung Curtains.
- Step 4:
Repainted front section that was a tool shed. Added two VJ panelled walls. Revamped the sliding glass window. Painted everything, installed wall fans.
- Step 5:
Clad the outside of the building and painted. Built pagodas on either side to give depth and dimension. Laid Laminate flooring in both sections.
- Step 6:
Furnished and styled.
