The project:
Transformed the side area of our backyard to be a fun and comfortable place for all ages to be able to enjoy. All components in this build are available from our local Bunnings. Has been completed in a 4 month period in a remote part of Australia.
- Materials:
Cream pavers 4 sizes, charcoals pavers 4 sizes, metal fire pit, plants and planter pots, shelving units, chess and checker pieces, fence posts and fence sheets, camp chairs and outdoor couch.
- Tools:
Angle grinder, drill, lawnmower, hedge trimmer, reciprocating saw all makita. Shovel, wheelbarrow, leveller and buckets of sweat.
- Step 1:
Removed all existing ground coverage.
- Step 2:
Layed new grass and reticulation
- Step 3:
Install shed
- Step 4:
Cubed the tree
- Step 5:
Built the viewing platform
- Step 6:
Paved all areas
- Step 7:
Received new chess pieces
- Step 8:
Built new fence and racking
- Step 9:
Build new half circular plant bed from recycled pavers
- Step 10:
Installed new plants in pots.
