The project:
I needed some extra space and created an extension off my main shed. The whole structure is made all from recycled material. The space has a woodshed, ride on shed, fuel and oil storage, and storage for my push mower and garden tools. Still to come will be a roof over my tractor.
- Materials:
All materials used were recycled through the local buy back centre and from Marketplace and friends.
Materials include coppers treated pine posts, treated pine decking, industrial shelving, colourbond, clip lock roofing and artificial turf.
Landscaping materials are treated pine sleepers, clip lock roofing, rocks from the property, relocated agapanthus and blue metal.
- Tools:
Tools used are from the Ozito 18v handyman range and included a circular saw, impact driver, angle grinder and drills. All purchased through Bunnings South Nowra.
- Step 1:
Unfortunately I don't have photos to support each step as, the project has been completed over the last couple of years and as I procured the materials for the job.
Step one, the earthworks were carried out, roughly levelling the area and installing drainage.
- Step 2:
The perimeter fence was erected to enclose the space.
- Step 3:
Woodshed mark one was built, later to be relocated to its current position.
- Step 4:
Perimeter fence line changed to accommodate building garden tool shed.
- Step 5:
Woodshed mark one demolished, mark two construction completed.
- Step 6:
Ride on mower shed walls built.
- Step 7:
Woodshed mark two roof extended.
- Step 8:
Ride on shed roof installed.
- Step 9:
Fuel and oil storage area created between garden tool shed and ride on shed.
- Step 10:
Ride on shed doors made and fitted, artificial turf laid.
