DIY Star Wars lightsaber hilt

The project:

This project focuses on creating a custom lightsaber hilt using readily available materials from Bunnings. By combining PVC pipe, plumbing fittings, and other hardware, the project demonstrates basic fabrication, assembly, and finishing techniques. The finished hilt is lightweight, durable, and can be customized with paint and decorative details to reflect a unique design. - Step 1:

Grab your M10 bolt, feed a 5mm washer down the bolt, put the top part of your compression union on it. Next, feed 1 5mm washer and then 2 3mm washers for a repeat of 6 times and then another 5mm washer. Next, put your threaded adapter on and then 2 3mm washers. Then, put your brass threaded hex on followed by 1 3mm washer, then a 5mm washer. Next, put your Hexagon socket on followed by a 5mm washer, and 2 3mm washers. Then you put the second part of your compression union on. Then put your M10 nut or locknut on and hold the base of the hilt with one wrench and tighten with the other - make sure everything is aligned and tighten the bolt.

What a clever use of everyday plumbing fittings and hardware. It's amazing how you've transformed readily available Bunnings materials into a lightsaber hilt that looks like it could have come straight out of the Star Wars universe. I particularly like how you've incorporated the different brass fittings to create interesting details and textures.
