I bought the Estilo Link Toilet Suite for S trap and am having trouble fitting the rubber flush cone into the toilet pan. It's a finned internal cone. The instructions with the unit are minimal.
If I fit the cone into the pan then try and push the link pipe in to it, the pipe won't go far enough past the cone into the pan and with pressure the cone starts to disappear past the side of the pan. If I try with the cone on the pipe, the cone just pushes itself back up the pipe. I've tried soap on the cone but that was no help. Such a time waster for what I thought would be quick and easy.
Also the fittings include a thin white plastic ring, I am not sure if this goes the cistern end or the pan end of the link pipe (for a clean look perhaps?).
