Butlers pantry and laundry upgrade

The project:

updated our 1980’s laundry to be a butler pantry and laundry, floorboards placed over old brown tiles. Kaboodle cabinetry, Clark sink and open shelving was the cheaper range of cabinetry. All purchased from Bunnings

- Materials:

Kaboodle bases and white fronts

Bunnings Merbu timber shelving

Bunnings merbu bench top

Bunnings grey timber floorboards

Dulux vivid white paint

- Tools:

Milwaukee drill, caulking gun, drop saw for boards

- Step 1:

the old floor tiles were so well glued in we decided to leave them and go over, we jack hammered the old tub out and then place the flooring in

- Step 2:

top open shelving was installed and then the lower cabinetry was placed in,

- Step 3:

laundry 1/2 tub was installed with the taps

Placed inside of the tub rather than leaving them on the wall

- Step 4:

bench up placed in and the shelving under the open shelving

- Step 5:

Bunnings black handles installed and a

Coat rack for school bags completing our Reno

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your pantry/laundry combination project.

I am totally envious with the amount of wall space that you have for storage. Unfortunately, my laundry is outside my home and can't be used in such a practical manner. The clever use of Kaboodle cabinetry and open shelving is a smart choice. Adding the timber panel shelf at the bottom of the wall cabinets is just inspired and maximizes the use of all the wall space. It's so well organized and the top loader does not look out of place. A fantastic combination of your pantry and laundry!
