The project:
Dismantling the old laundry meant removing the old tub and opening the wall for plumber access.
Plumbing was all installed out of sight in the sink cupboard, and I repaired the wall with wet area gyprock.
My rough design was taken to Bunnings Dural where the friendly and helpful staff drew it up and prepared a quote for the materials needed.
Everything I needed was ordered from Bunnings, with cupboards being Kaboodle and sink, mixer tap, gyprock, right down to cupboard handles.
After re-sheeting the wall, I assembled and installed the cabinets, benchtop and then tiled the splashback.
The result is an attractive and useful laundry with plenty of storage.

- Step 1:
Unfortunately I don't have any photos for before and after, or for steps.
The first step was to cut a section of gyprock 1200mm x 1200mm from the wall to allow plumber to disconnect existing washing machine taps and move to under the sink.
- Step 2:
Construct all cabinets. Replace section of gyprock to laundry wall.
Fit cabinets, cabinet ends and benchtop.
Tile splashback, grout.
Repaint section of wall
