Entry update with vertical slats and shelf

The project:

I water to update the entry so I made a custom vertical wall and painted the whole wall black, I am waiting on some light strips to put led lights spaced along the Slats for a warm welcoming glow and the wife is in the process of decor

- Materials:

Pine, stain, black paint, shelving brackets, liquid nails

- Tools:

Air Brad nailer, Brad nails, drop saw, drill, rattler, brush, roller

- Step 1:

I made all the measurements necessary

cut the lengths

Stained all the pieces

While the stain was drying I painted the wall partially for the Slats

Made a piece for around the lights

Mounted shelf

Mounted Slats

Painted remainder of wall

Mounted hooks

Mounting custom smart LED strips once the supplies arrive

Final step is to stand back and appreciate the hard work, the immediately get told about the next project

What an excellent transformation! The custom vertical wall has added a nice contrast to the walls structure. The walls dark colour has blends in very well with the floor and ceiling. I'm sure once you have the LED light installed it will look outstanding.
