The project:

This three piece upcycling collection transforms a tall plant stand, a pair of dated side tables, and a mid century wardrobe into modern, functional feature pieces.great for a full room revamp! The plant stand is an upcycled glass top with floral display using a repurposed circular glass top. in full visability. The side tables are upgraded with fresh paint, brass knobs, and integrated USB and power ports for practical everyday use. The 1960s wardrobe is revitalised with bright teal paint and a decorative appliqué that enhances its original structure. Together, these pieces demonstrate sustainable creativity, thoughtful restoration, and the potential of overlooked and forgotten furniture.

- Materials:

- Tools:

The tools used include the Ryobi 300W 125mm orbital sander from https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-300w-125mm-orbital-sanderp6210549, a drill, a hole saw, screws, mounting hardware, an adaptor cable for the charging units, paintbrushes, rollers, and cleaning supplies for preparation.

- Step 1:

1. Although i dont have step by step images, i do have links attached to each process and will also list them here. The plant stand was cleaned thoroughly to remove dust and residue.
2. 
   The stand was lightly sanded using the orbital sander to smooth the timber.
3. 
   The stand was prepared for sealing and fitted with Surface Gard adhesive pads for stability.
4. 
   The repurposed circular glass top was positioned securely on the stand.
5. 
   The floral arrangement was styled beneath the glass to complete the display table.
6. 
   The side tables were sanded and cleaned to prepare the timber for priming.
7. 
   Primer and paint were applied to achieve a deep green finish.
8. 
   Openings were measured and cut for the USB and power charging panels.
   
9. The charging units and adaptor cable were installed securely inside the tables.
10. 
    The wardrobe was cleaned, sanded, primed, painted in bright teal, fitted with a decorative appliqué, and sealed to complete the transformation.
