The project:
Our laundry has gone from outdated and cramped to bright, modern and much more practical. We added new cabinetry, better storage, a durable benchtop and a layout that makes everyday jobs so much easier. It's now an organised space that's easy to keep tidy and works much better for our family. The renovation has made a huge difference to our daily routine, and we're really happy with how it turned out.
- Materials:
We used a range of quality materials from Bunnings, including cabinetry, laminate benchtops, splashback tiles, paint, flooring, shelving, storage accessories, lighting, handles, silicone, adhesives and other installation supplies. Choosing Bunnings made it easy to source everything we needed in one place and helped bring our laundry renovation together.
- Tools:
We used a range of tools from Bunnings throughout our laundry renovation, including:
- Cordless drill/driver – Power drills
- Circular saw
- Spirit level
- Tape measure
- Stud finder
- Caulking gun
- Orbital sander
- Paint brushes and rollers
- Screwdrivers, spanners and pliers
- Safety gear
Most of the tools and accessories were purchased from Bunnings, making it easy to complete the entire renovation with products sourced from one place.
- Step 1:
Step 1:Â Planned the renovation by measuring the space, designing a more functional layout and choosing all the materials, fixtures and tools from Bunnings.

Step 2:Â Removed the old cabinets, sink, benchtop and flooring, then repaired and prepared the walls and floor to ensure everything was ready for installation.
- Step 3:
Step 3:Â Installed the new cabinetry, benchtop, sink, tapware and splashback, carefully checking that everything was level, secure and positioned for the best use of the space.
- Step 4:
Step 4:Â Painted the walls, laid the new flooring, installed lighting, shelving and storage solutions, then sealed all joins with silicone for a neat, professional finish.
- Step 5:
Step 5:Â Added the final touches, including handles, accessories and organisation, gave the room a thorough clean and enjoyed a bright, modern laundry that's practical, functional and built to last.
