Outdoor makeover with stone wall tiles

The project:

my husband has transformed our whole house on his own and these are two of the outdoor areas , before and after photo

- Materials:

wall stone tiles are Bunnings , timber and plastic sheeting to enclose area are . Bunnings. Plants are from Bunnings and pots in enclosed side area.

- Tools:

drills, saws, tiling tools and groat all Bunnings

- Step 1:

both areas needed to be prepared before tiling and surfaces painted with a pre-tile paint.
tiles had to be placed from bottom up to prevent slipping, tiles cut to leave a straight edge. Grouted after , then sealed in a tile sealer. All brought at Bunnings

- Step 2:

The side area was boarded with the timber then added the plastic sheeting, timber sealed in a vanish to support wear against the weather. This has allowed better use of this area as now not exposed to the weather.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

These outdoor areas have been completely transformed. The stone wall tiles add plenty of texture and character, while the timber framing and twin-wall polycarbonate sheets have made the side area much more sheltered and practical for everyday use.

Your husband has clearly put a great deal of work into preparing the surfaces, carefully laying and sealing the tiles, and finishing the timber for outdoor exposure.
