Outdoor spa deck and pergola

The project:

We installed a spa, built a deck around it then semi enclosed it with a wall on 2 sides and finished it off with a pergola style roof.

- Materials:

we used wood posts, cement, decking boards, decking oil, timber, laser light, shade cloth, perma timber and screws.

- Tools:

drills, circular saw, levels, stringlines, drop saw, hammers, square, ladder

- Step 1:

we dig out for the deck and installed the posts.

- Step 2:

laid the spa pad and installed the spa

- Step 3:

installed the bearers, trusses and framing

- Step 4:

laid the deck and oiled the decking boards.

- Step 5:

built wall framing and installed perma timber.

- Step 6:

installed the roof and guttering

- Step 7:

we decorated

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

The deck looks sturdy and the walled pergola structure frames the space well. The clear poly roof sheets are also a good addition as they will keep the weather out, but still let the light in. It looks like a fantastic spot to kick back and relax in the spa.
