Front entrance makeover using paint

The project:

Repainted portico, Repainted front door. Laid pebble stone pavers

- Materials:

Davco grout and tile adhesive Taubmanns paint Jasper used Wattyl Windspray first. Paint Brushes & roller, Masking tape. Decor8 Marble Mosaic pavers. Crommelin grout sealer

- Tools:

Brushes, rollers, rubber pointed trowel, square notch trowel

- Step 1:

Prepared with taping the area to paint. Painted twice didn’t like first colour, settled on Jasper by Taubman. Painted front door black, and the surrounding woodwork black. Front door handle touch up with black enamel aerosol. Laid pavers, applied tile adhesive, laid pavers, grouted, applied grout sealer (Crommelin)

Hi @Leonie59,

Another lovely project. The Jasper paint, black front door and matching trim create a smart, modern entrance, while the marble mosaic pavers add plenty of texture and interest to the portico.

It is also great to see the care you took in changing the colour when the first option was not quite right, then finishing the pavers with grout sealer for added protection. The result looks neat, considered and very welcoming.

It would be wonderful to see any before or progress photos you may have, as they would help show just how much the entrance has changed.
