How to build a breakfast bar?

I am looking to create a breakfast bar in my kitchen. I require some cabinetry. The length of the breakfast bar will be 2280mm. I would like drawers with shaker vgroove fronts. I would also need a panel to go along the back with shaker vgroove with 3 pockets.

This sounds like a fantastic project, which we'd love to assist with.

I'd encourage you to have a play around with the Kaboodle Planner. You can select a combination of cabinets to make the structure of the breakfast bar, then select benchtops and different colours and styles of cabinet fronts to fit the aesthetic you are looking for. Once you are finished with the design, you will be provided with a list of components that are needed to make your plan a reality.

The Kaboodle Country style doors are the v-groove shaker profile that you are after, and they can be ordered in a wide variety of colours.

If you use two x 900mm 3 drawers base cabinets and a 450mm 3 drawer base cabinet, you will have a breakfast bar that is 2250mm wide. You can then use filler panels for the extra 30mm of space.

For the wall panel, there is nothing premade that I am aware of, however you can quite easily make it yourself using a sheet of

with some MDF trim to create the shaker profile.
