The project:

converted walk in pantry to a butler’s pantry - 2 days work

- Materials:

The Buttlers pantry includes three base cabinet units with a custom-made stone benchtop. Overhead cupboards installed without doors to create open shelving, and the splashbacks tiled to match the existing kitchen for a seamless, cohesive finish.

- Step 1:

stripped out corner shelving

Patched up & Repainted walls

- Step 3:

installed Practa base units

- Step 4:

Install practa over head shelves

- Step 5:

Sanded area for tile prep

- Step 6:

Installed stone bench

- Step 7:

Glued tiles on

- Step 8:

Glued tiles on

- Step 9:

Glued Tiles & grouted tiles

- Step 10:

Finished off with new skirting boards and paint sealed joins and gaps

What an excellent transformation! Converting the walk-in pantry into a butler's pantry has created a space that's not only beautiful but incredibly practical. The open shelving, matching splashback and custom benchtop all blend seamlessly with the existing kitchen, giving it a balanced, high-end look. It's a thoughtful upgrade that makes the room feel more organised, functional and a pleasure to use every day.
