The project:
Transformed an older white Hamptons desk into a sexy black vanity with Perspex makeup storage all sorted- old jewelry displayed under the glass top and hair tools fixed to the side with turn table to display products and perfumes - a compact foldable magnifying mirror completes the functionality with extra storage under the seat of the stool

6 black runner grommets
A metal hair roll

a vanity table topper in Perspex old mirror
Porters paint in aniseed
New paint brushes
Sandpaper and block
New brass palm tree draw pulls
Contact black draw liner
New stool
- Tools:
Makita drill
Screwdriver

- Step 1:
cleaned the mirror and desk
- Step 2:
unscrews the draw pulls
- Step 3:
have the entire desk a light sand and wiped down to remove dust
- Step 4:
applied 4 coats of porters paint to the desk with a week between coats to allow for hardening
- Step 5:
had toughened glass cut to size to fit the tip of the desk
- Step 6:
screwed the hair roll storage to the side of the desk
- Step 7:
screwed in new door pulls
- Step 8:
hung mirror and sorted old jewelry to display under the glass then placed black grommets and glass ontop
- Step 9:
topped with the Perspex vanity ripper draws and makeup vanity turntable jewelry storage on top and makeup brushes in a jar
