I not the new TV unit but its not the colour ai really wanted, so I want to add a dark colour to it that matches a bit closer to my all furniture. Is it possible to colur the wooden furniture in darker shade

The basic steps to change the colour of your TV unit is to sand it back down to timber and apply a new stain. However, matching the colour of your current furniture is going to be very difficult if not impossible. Because your chair and other furniture pieces have been with you for a while they are no longer the same colour as the original when it was applied. The best you can do is to try for a colour match and apply the stain through trial and error until you get close to the colour of your furniture.
I suggest visiting your local store and having a look at the stain and sealer sample board. You'll be able to see what the stains look like when applied to timber. I suggest bringing a door or chair that has the stain colour you are trying to match and showing it to the paint specialist. They will be able to make suggestions on what stain you should use.
