The project:

Making a catio for my ma and her gorgeous girl, Olivia. The plan was to create and environment where the cat was safe from jumping fences, avoid fights with other cats, and to protect the local wildlife while giving mum and Olivia an outdoor space to hang out and have a cuppa and some catnip. Every plant in here is 100% safe for cats and will eventually grow into larger pots for the cat to enjoy.

- Step 1:

Followed the instructions to build the enclosure.

- Step 2:

Added the fake turf and chairs. Followed the cat tower instructions/table and moved into the enclosure.

- Step 3:

Added pots and plants.

- Step 4:

Added the cat!

What a wonderful space you've created for Olivia. It looks fantastic, and I love that you've designed it with both your mum and her furry companion in mind. Having a comfortable spot where they can enjoy the outdoors together while keeping Olivia safe and protecting the local wildlife is a win all round.

It's also great to see you've chosen cat-safe plants to complete the space. Once they grow in, I imagine the enclosure will feel even more lush and inviting.

Thanks so much for sharing your project with the community. I'm sure it will inspire plenty of other cat owners who are thinking about creating a safe outdoor retreat for their own pets.
