The project:

My project transforms a simple outdoor space into a peaceful backyard retreat centred around a beautiful outdoor bath. I wanted to create a place where anyone could slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature without spending a fortune.

Using affordable materials and products from Bunnings, I built a stylish and practical space featuring a freestanding outdoor bath, privacy screening, natural timber accents, plants, and soft lighting to create a relaxing atmosphere. The design focuses on being achievable for everyday Australians, proving that you don't need a huge budget or professional experience to create something special.

As someone who believes in making the most of what you have, this project reflects creativity, sustainability, and DIY spirit. Every decision was made to keep the build budget-friendly, functional, and inviting. My hope is that this outdoor bath retreat inspires others to tackle their own DIY projects and create a little sanctuary they can enjoy for years to come.
