We used mdf from bunnings to make these projects with laser machine.

Computer and laser machine

- Step 1:

fix the software design

- Step 2:

command the laser machine to cut according to the design

glue the designed pieces together

These look fantastic! It's amazing what can be created from a simple sheet of MDF with a well-thought-out design. The geometric pattern creates a really eye-catching effect when the lamp is lit, and the finished piece has a very modern look.

I'd be interested to hear a little more about the design process. Did you create the pattern yourself in the software, or did you start with an existing template and customise it? I'm sure other members with access to a laser cutter would love to know a bit more about how you approached the project.

We usually look for free templates . Most of the time free designs come with glitches here and there. Those we fix and sometimes we also get inspired by others and customise them according to our likings. We learnt by watching various YouTube tutorials.
